RecreationĪll of these shelters include an adjacent playground and horseshoe courts. ![]() Not too far away are areas that include Aitch Boat Launch, James Creek Boat Launch, Tatman Run Recreation Area, Lake Raystown Resort and downtown Huntingdon, PA. Within Seven Points are attractions like the Seven Points Beach, the Seven Points Marina, the Greenside Pathway, and the Allegrippis Trails and Mountain Bike Skills Park. All of the shelters offer nearby access to the beach and lakeshore making them great places to picnic, swim and boat. Pine is located near the Visitors Center and all of its facilities. Oak sits along the shoreline near the beach. Dogwood and Redbud sit near one another with a sand volleyball court nearby. Allegheny sits atop a hill overlooking Raystown Lake and offers one of the best views of the lake looking southward. To ensure everyone in your party can park on the day of your reservation be sure you and your attendees arrive early in the day, especially on busy weekends.Įach of the shelters is unique in its view and location. Reserving this shelter does not guarantee parking, all vehicles must park in designated parking spaces. If there is another preferred caterer, you MUST first contact Lighthouse Catering to obtain their permission to use another vendor. If your event will be professionally catered at a Seven Points picnic shelter, you MUST contact Brian and Sandy Rickabaugh at Lighthouse Catering at (814) 635-2562 or (814) 650-9834. The Lighthouse Catering has exclusive rights to all picnic shelter catering services in Seven Points.Pets are permitted but must be penned, caged, on a leash under six feet in length or otherwise be physically restrained.Please bring your confirmation letter the day of your reservation. Your group is responsible for cleaning up the shelter area (including removal of decorations, tacks and tape), grills, and proper placement of picnic tables prior to your departure. Shelters can be reserved through our Park Permits Office or online through ActiveMONTGOMERY. Each shelter includes four picnic tables and one grill. The five small picnic shelters can accommodate up to 40 people. Shelter C has electricity available for an additional $30 fee. Catering is permitted at large picnic shelters. Each shelter includes 10 picnic tables and two grills. The five large picnic shelters can accommodate up to 100 people.
